15 Piece Art Paint Brushes Set

This is a really nice paint brush set. First let me state I am not an artist. I actually got this set just do use with crafts for the house and with my daughter. The set came in a really nice zipper case that is black. There are 15 paint brushes. Each brush has a slot which helps keep the brushes neat and organized. When I first got this set of brushes the bristles where stiff. This is on purpose to keep them nice. Once you stick the brush in water and let it soak the bristles get soft like they should be. This set came with brushes ranging in all sizes. I like that there are some large brushes that will be good for painting larger areas and then some really mall brushes for fine details. They also range in brush type. There are straight edge ones & angled ones. I am not an expert on types of brushes and quality. These brushes seem like they are good quality but you can tell they aren't the best. The larger brush I was using the gold metal part jiggled a bit. These brushes will be perfect for our needs and uses.

500 Piece Craft Making Pom Poms

My daughter loved these craft pom poms. She saw them sitting on the table and kept asking me when she could play with them. She just wanted to touch them and look at all the bright colors. This package came with 500 small colorful pom poms. These are perfect for kid crafts. My daughter insisted we make a Christmas tree with them yesterday so we tried them out. We used Elmer's white glue and were easily able to glue them onto green construction paper. My daughter was able to manipulate the pom poms easily and get them where she wanted. They made an adorable decorated Christmas tree. I know we will use these for several kid crafts. I think there will be several Christmas trees hung around our home. 

As a mom I like that these pom poms came in a resealable plastic pouch. I can easily stick this pouch into my craft bin and not sorry about pom poms ending up all over the bin. Also did you see this comes with 500! that's A lot! 

These pom poms are small. They are smaller than I expected. They still work perfectly well though.

Orblue Pastry Cutter (Pastry Blender)

I like to bake... I used to bake a lot but now I have a child and I don't bake as often. However my little girl loves to help me and she loves muffins. Muffins taste so much better when they have that sweet crumb topping. You know the one... It's got brown sugar, butter 7 flower. Then the recipe says to use a Pastry cutter(also called a Pastry Blender) to make the crumbs. What is a pastry cutter is what I always said. My mom told me to just use to butter knives and it will do the trick. It works but it never comes out perfect. I want the good crumb topping. Well I have to say I am now the proud owner of this very “rare” baking tool: "The Pastry cutter". I can now make those awesome crumbs for my pumpkin muffins. You know those awesome crumbs that take any muffin from boring to excellent. I was super excited to try it out. Of course my daughter insisted on trying also. She needed to get her cute little hands on my pastry cutter and so I decided she could be my hand model for this post. My pictures are just with flour because when she helps out I give her a separate bowl with just flour so she can "help" and have her own baking bowl.

This pastry cutter has a great rubber grip handle which makes it easy to get a good grip on it. The body of the tool is stainless steel and really easy to clean. It appears and works just like your typical pastry cutter. There are 4 metal blades that do the magic of a pastry cutter. The metal blades aren't too sharp and therefore aren't dangerous for little ones to try with supervision of course. When I tested it with butter, flour, & brown sugar the cutter worked well to make crumbs. You sort of rock the pastry cutter back and forth and move the ingredients around and the crumbs form. It does take a little work to get good crumbs but we were satisfied with the results.

OTBBA HDMI Cable - 6 Feet

My husband has some movies downloaded onto his computer and sometimes we want to watch a movie from our computer. We have tried to figure out how to connect the computer to our TV and found that the best way is using an HDMI cable. We had just 1 HDMI cable that was used for our cable. We really needed a second cable. Well this new cable works perfectly for us. It's a pretty simple cable. It has HDMI connectors on either side and easily connects from the laptop to the TV. The cable is 6 feet and plenty long. The cable is a high speed cable and seems to work without any hang ups. The wire seems durable and has a thick insulation.

LAX 6 Foot Lightning Cable (Apple MFi Certified )

If you are like me you need a phone charger in every room, your car & your office. We have so many chargers and yet I always feel like I need 1 more. We are an Apple family and have a few devices that use the same type of charging cable so we often need to charge multiple items at a time. Well this is the latest charging cable I've added to my collection. This cable 6 feet long! That's right finally a cable that is long enough to reach the couch from the wall outlet. Most of my cables are only 3 feet and that's a bit short for me. This cable has a nice Velcro wrap so that you can wind the cable up so that it doesn't knot up. The best feature is that this cable is not your typical rubber wire cable. This cable is a tangle free braided nylon. So basically it looks like a nylon rope. This cable is designed to last. It is going to replace the cable I have in my bedroom. That cable has frayed at the connector and I had to try and tape it to keep it from getting worse. I even bought these little plastic shields that are supposed to prevent cables from fraying at the connector but they really don't work. I am so impressed with the sturdy design of this charging cable. The cable also connects seamlessly to my computer and to ITunes. Some cables will charge your phone but don't connect to ITunes on your computer. I plugged the phone into the cable and my computer recognized the phone right away. This cable is a good one and one that I would be happy to purchase again. I give it two thumbs up and 5 Stars.

Era Organic Baby Lotion & Diaper Cream

Have you heard of Era Organic baby skin products? Well they are great products so you should continue reading. I have had the opportunity to test out 3 of their products and have really enjoyed using all of them. I will only be talking about 2 of them in this post though. First, all of the Era Organic products are organic and made for sensitive skin. They are all made with organic oils & extracts and no chemicals. The products are fragrance and dye free and are cruelty free and vegan friendly. I like being able to look at the ingredient list and recognize everything as being natural. The Baby lotion is super moisturizing. It goes on smoothly and soaks into your skin easily. Now this lotion is alcohol free so it doesn't dry on your skin like some lotions do. You do feel the lotion a little on your skin afterwards but only until it all soaks into your skin. Many lotions actually have alcohol in them and this can actually dry your skin out which is the exact opposite of the goal. We have been using this lotion on my daughter after her baths. It is easy to apply and I like that it doesn't have any overbearing perfume smell. Usually after bath time she just puts on her pajamas so it's no big deal if her skin feels a little slippery from the lotion. I find that this lotion hasn't had any reactions on her skin and has really helped fight the dry skin that you get when the weather changes in autumn. 

We also recently got the Era Organic Diaper Cream. My daughter is almost finished with diapers but she still gets red sometimes down there. It's nice to find a natural cream that actually works. We've been using regular diaper cream because I’ve tried just coconut oil and it didn't work. I wish I had found this diaper cream 2 years ago. It has a similar feel to petroleum jelly and goes on really easily and smoothly. It helps create that moisture barrier that really helps heal little baby skin. The natural oils in the cream are excellent for healing the irritated skin as well. We used it for about a day and a half and noticed an improvement. She didn't have a bad diaper rash but now I am prepared for next time.

Encounter Womens Racerback Sports Bra

Let’s just face it... It is so important to have the right kind of support when exercising. I can tell you from past experiences that not all sports bras are created equally. Unfortunately I have on several occasions been injured by unsupportive sports bras. I have been rubbed raw, jiggled until I ache & literally bled through my t-shirt. I am not as active as I used to be but I still play soccer regularly and run. Since I've had my daughter I have found that I need even better support and a tighter fit on my sports bras. I basically have 1 bra that I trust and a couple that I can use for minimal impact workouts. I was eager and hopeful that I would find another great sports bra. Here are my thoughts.

First, it's purple and I love the color purple. Second the design and feel of it are great. It's made of a material that will stretch well and wear well when I get hot and sweaty. Third and most important is the fit of this sports bra. I am a petite girl with a larger than average chest so fit can be a bit tricky for me. The sports bra fit me well. I felt fully covered. But it did not give me the support I was hoping for. It did not hold me firm enough to reduce the jiggle enough. I did the jumping around and running in place test and this sports bra did not pass my test. I didn't feel like it was snug enough to hold my chest in place. I desire to have a sports bra that is snug enough to hold me tight and really reduce the jiggle. If I were to go running with this bra on I think I would feel sore afterwards (I'm actually not even willing to give this a try). I would say this sports bra is good for low impact activity such as a yoga class or a kickboxing class. But it definitely wouldn't work for an active workout such as an aerobics class, a soccer game or a jog. So I am a bit disappointed in this sports bra overall for me personally. I don't think it is the best choice for my needs.
